This is an ongoing series of mini blogs to highlight the breweries like Lone Tree Brewing Company partnering with Drink for Pink.
Next up is Lone Tree Brewing Company. They’ve been huge supporters of Drink for Pink from the very beginning. In 2015, they were our biggest donors, and this past year, they helped us run not one but two events including our second annual DfP Cornhole Tournament and an amazing food and beer pairing.
What’s the origin of Lone Tree Brewing Company?
Emily: Lone Tree Brewing Company began as a dream of two but shared by many. Way back in 2011 the suburbs of Denver did not have a strong Craft Beer presence. A local tap room where neighbors could meet and share a story and a pint was hard to locate. Lone Tree Brewing Company was the first Craft Beer only tap room to open in the small town of Lone Tree, Colorado.
What’s your favorite beer and why?
Emily: Well Made! Anyone can put water, hops, yeast and malt together and call it beer but it is the well-crafted beer made by a truly passionate master that gets the vote as favorite.
If you could make any beer, what would you call it and what would it taste like?
Emily: I’d make the only beer you will ever want, and it would be called “This is IT!” It would encompass all the characteristics a truly crafted beer would contain.
Three words that describe your brewery
Emily: Community, Dependable, Welcoming
What’s next for your brewery?
Emily: There is always something going on here at LTBC. We are turning 5 in December, and having a weekend long celebration, December 8-10. In addition, we’ve got some updates to the tasting room in the works, a re-branding on the horizon, and potentially even some seasonal can offerings!
A special thank you to everyone that came to the Drink for Pink events at Lone Tree this year. Between the cornhole tournament and the (delicious) food and beer pairing, we can’t wait to be back at Lone Tree in 2017!
